After the hectic holidays, I always find myself dreading January. I feel so much pressure to start the year right and add the cold winter and it's a recipe for going crazy. I was smart enough to book a trip last year to Colombia to avoid this disaster but this year, that was not possible so I'm going to post more pictures from Mexico to infuse sunshine and positive vibes inside my head.

I am definitely missing the blue skies and hot days! This was my home for 8 days in Playa del Carmen. We stayed at Riu Playacar. It was a really fantastic resort and the friendliest staff!!
